Sales conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they give information regarding the policies under which you will be ordering lenses with us.
In these terms and conditions: "Interlenses" means "www.Interlenses.com". In this policy, the terms ‘we’ or ‘us’ refer to Interlenses / Dianthus Lda and our websites, mobile sites and apps.
Payment
You can pay with all major credit and debit cards, PayPal or bank transfer. We will take payment from your card at the time you place your order.
Taking payment does not mean we have accepted your order and if for any reason we are unable to accept your order we will provide you with a full refund within 14 days.
You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other method(s) of payment on any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you provide to us is true, correct and complete. By submitting this information, you give us the right to provide information to third parties in order to facilitate Purchases.
Purchases
By placing an order with us you indicate that you have read and agreed with all the terms and conditions of use and you agree that you will act accordingly.
By placing an order through our Site, you warrant that you:
• are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• are at least 18 years old
• hold a valid prescription for the contact lenses you wish to order
• you have no ailments that contraindicates the wear of contact lenses
If you want to purchase a product or service, you may be asked to provide certain information regarding your purchase, including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address and shipping information.
Your order counts as an offer to purchase goods from us.
After placing your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email. This contains an order number, details of the products you have ordered, the total cost of the order (including delivery) and information about VAT/sales tax included.
Acceptance of your order will take place when we dispatch the product(s) to you. Until we dispatch the product(s), no contract will have been formed between us.
Reasons for not accepting your order, includes, but are not limited to: Availability of products or services, errors in the description or in the price of the product or service, mistake with your order or other reasons. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if we suspect fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction.
Availability, errors and inaccuraciesWe are constantly updating our product and service offerings in the Service. The products or services available in our Service may be listed with an incorrect price, can be described incorrectly or may be unavailable, and we may face delays in updating information about the Service and in our advertising on other websites.
We cannot, and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including pricing, product images, specifications, availability and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time, without prior notice.
Returns and cancellationOrdering your contact lenses online should be easy and convenient. However, if something goes wrong, we will try our best to make it right.
If you want to exchange your lenses or request a refund, for any reason, please contact us.
Standard productsYou can return new and unused product(s) in re-saleable condition within 14 days after receiving your purchase provided that they are unopened (box is sealed), undamaged and in original condition without any exterior markings of any sort (check marks, indicators for right or left, etc.).
Contact lenses are categorized as medical devices, and therefore we must apply these conditions for returns.
We will give you a refund by the same method as your original payment for products that are returned with proof of purchase in new and unused condition and, if possible, the packaging.
You are responsible for the shipping and shipping costs to us. Please keep a "proof of postage" when returning goods.
If the return is because we have shipped wrong products to you, then
- ship the products to us as "registered Air Mail"
- and include the payment recipe with the lenses.
We will then issue a refund to you for the postage fee.
Non-standard productsMade-to-order contact lenses cannot be cancelled or returned.
Defective lenses (manufacturing defects)Defective lenses are exchanged for the same product when/if the manufacturer confirms the manufacturing defect. Just send the defective lens to us + the original packaging within the warranty period.
If you return from a EU country:
Please include a copy of the invoice and the reason for the return.
If you return from a non EU country:
- Write on the envelope/package: "Return of products purchased in Portugal"
- Include a copy of the invoice in a Clear Plastic Self Adhesive Packing Slip Envelope Pouch (See example here:
Example) and attach it to the outside of the envelope/package.
When the lens manufacturer agrees that the lens is defective due to a manufacturing defect, a replacement lens will be sent to you at no cost.
We cannot issue refunds for defective items.
You are responsible for the shipping and shipping costs to us. Please keep a "proof of postage" when returning goods.
Links to other WebsitesOur Service may contain links to websites or third-party services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and does not assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services.
You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be held responsible, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged caused by or related to the use of or reliance on any said content, goods or services available from such websites or services, or through them.

Place of Sale, Jurisdiction and Applicable Law The place of sale for all transactions conducted on this Site is Portugal.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law and all Contracts made with us for the purchase of Products will be governed by the law of Portugal. The courts in Portugal will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Site and any dispute arising from, or related to, contracts for the purchase of Products from our Site.
However, we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
